If you or a loved one needs some extra support or property adaptations to help them stay independent, we are here to help. Retirement living in our independent homes is ideal for older people who are better suited to more manageable accommodation.

Broadway House provides studio accommodation for older people who want to live as independently as possible but need assistance with some aspects of daily living.

The scheme has staff on duty and provides a main meal in the dining room every day.

It is located very close to Sandhurst High Street and all local amenities. It is also very close to our extracare scheme Broadway House and tenants from Swan House join with Broadway tenants for some activities.

How to apply

Our independent living schemes are available for anyone over the age of 60 (55+ in some schemes), who needs low levels of support.


You can apply by visiting your council's Choice Based Lettings website.

Transfer incentive scheme

We offer incentives to people who are interested in downsizing their homes. If you choose to move into a smaller home, you may be eligible for our transfer incentive scheme (TIS). Mutual exchanges are also eligible for the transfer incentive if both homes are owned and managed by us.

We also consider offering the transfer incentive to customers moving out of a property with significant special adaptations, where the adaptations are no longer needed and are required by others waiting for accommodation.

Mobility scooters

Mobility scooters

We help our customers maintain an independent lifestyle by providing storage spaces for mobility scooters in some of our homes.

Mobility scooters and motorised wheelchairs can enhance the quality of life for those people who would otherwise have limited access to public facilities. If you would like to keep a mobility scooter in your home, please ask us for permission and arrange insurance before purchasing the scooter.
