Silva Homes is a vibrant, confident and independent housing association with ambitious plans, backed by strong finances and excellent colleagues. We were established in 2008 as a stock transfer association, and since transfer we have added just under 800 homes to our property portfolio and have significantly invested in, and improved, our homes and services to our customers.

Silva Homes owns and manages around 6,200 rented homes, including 400 sheltered housing flats, as well as 1,200 leaseholder properties. 

We're a successful, award winning and well regarded housing association. We employ around 220 people in a wide variety of jobs, including surveyors, carpenters and electricians, housing officers, accountants, mobile caretakers and administrative support staff. The quality of our service depends on the quality of our staff.
