Rent a home
If you are looking for a social housing property to rent (flats, bungalows, houses or sheltered housing retirement schemes), you first need to register on your local council's housing register.

The Council will assess your housing need based on their policy and you will be given a priority banding. From here you will then be able to view available properties on the Council's Choice Based Lettings System (CBL). You will be able to bid for properties you like and that suit your needs. If you have the top priority out of the people bidding then you will be contacted by the landlord that owns and manages the property to progress the application. Bracknell Forest Homes has 6,000 rented properties.
If we contact you to progress an application, this will involve an interview, viewing of the property and other checks to make sure you are a suitable match for the property before we sign a tenancy agreement. This will take approximately one week.
Our lets are done on Mondays.
