Ending your tenancy

To end your tenancy, you will need to:

Give us at least four weeks notice in writing that you are ending your tenancy and tell us your new address.
Allow future customers to view your property.
Clear the property of all your belongings.
Hand your keys in to our offices before your notice period ends.
Continue to pay rent until the end of your notice period and pay any arrears on your account.

Doing all of these things before your notice period ends will ensure you avoid any additional charges.

There are several ways you can inform us that you would like to end your tenancy.

Use My Silva
You can now inform us that you would like to end your tenancy using My Silva, our online, self-service portal.

You can also send an email to our general enquiries email address, providing it is the email address that you are registered with.

Send us a letter
Or, you can send a letter to our offices informing us of your intention to end your tenancy. Send your letter to:

Bracknell,
RG12 1RF.

Please ensure you leave your home and garden in a clean and tidy condition for the next person or family moving in.

Please note that you will be charged for the cost of work if we have to put things right.
