Over the last few days, we have seen major shortages in fuel, caused by a small number of stations being closed due to driver shortages. This has led to the closure of two-thirds of petrol stations and panic buying at a number of other stations. It has also made it difficult for us to get access to the fuel that we need.
At the present time, we are still able to provide all services as normal, including routine and emergency repairs. However, if shortages continue, and we are not able to operate a full repairs service, we will need to temporarily re-arrange some repairs. We will prioritise emergency repairs and customers who are vulnerable.
To help preserve fuel our team will be confirming all appointments in advance with customers. If we can’t confirm an appointment, we may have to cancel. Our independent living schemes have contingency plans in place for managers getting to site and the provision of meals at our extra support schemes.
